More than 362,000 patients are cared for annually by WVU physicians. More than 28,000 patients are cared for annually in WVU Hospitals. Facilities' expansion and renovation are under way.
Research
Externally funded research, basic and clinical, has significantly increased, led by research centers and institutes in cancer, neurosciences, eye care, and other fields, and supported by an investment in state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities.
